The Public Relations team is responsible for promoting the name and presence of Student Union. Through use of social media websites, physical media, and interpersonal interactions, the PR team effectively communicates the initiatives of the organization at large. This publicity is especially necessary around times of planned events and outreach efforts and therefore collaborates with other Student Union Committees as is appropriate. The Director of Public Relations oversees and facilitates all work in this field. The Director of Public Relations for the 2011-2012 academic year is Matthew Bae, reachable at pr@buunion.org.
